What an evening spent with Becky and Nick!

When we first met, Becky and Nick told me about how much they love to spend time at Ipperwash beach, where they would be for the next week and a half. I said, “Could I join you?”

I grew up in London, ON, so my family spent a lot of our summers on Lake Huron. It’s easily my favourite of the Great Lakes, and it was so much fun to do a shoot in a place that means so much to me, and to the couple I was photographing.

I must say, I have never seen a man make a woman laugh the way Nick made Becky laugh. Sometimes I’ll put the guys on the spot and tell them to say something in their partner’s ear to make her laugh. I could not hear what it was, but seconds later, Becky was laughing so much that she had to walk away. Turns out, Nick did an impression of their son asking for a drink. It was clearly spot on!
