Muskoka Wedding at Camp Kawartha

What an honour it was to capture the wedding of Tillie and Simon!

Three days were spent at Camp Kawartha for the guests of their wedding. When I arrived on Saturday, I found guests sitting under a tent, all playing various board games and chatting, and I knew immediately that this would be a great day.

And I was right. The whole day was completely magical. I especially loved all the hand made details provided by the couple. Tillie is very accomplished in embroidery, and hand embroidered the sleeves of her dress, her shoes, all of the table signs, and Simon’s tie. They also made a sign to hang, entitled “Camp Sillie”, which took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to figure out that “Sillie” is their two names combined.

The day was filled with laughter, friends and family, the most stunning nature, and just barely avoiding the rain. A day to truly honour such a wonderful couple.

Also, special shout to my second photographer Laura, who was extremely helpful on the day. Thanks Laura!
